The vineyard’s operation is a model of responsible stewardship reflecting deep respect for Arizona’s fragile ecosystem and James’ long-term commitment to sustainability. James employs solar-driven drip irrigation and completely forgoes chemical pesticides. The property has transformed into a working farm that welcomes rescue animals. The Vineyard’s tasting room in Young offers creative signature events including farm-to-table feasts that draw visitors from across Arizona. The second tasting room is in Superior. The vineyard has produced award winning wines that showcase the terroir of the high desert landscape. James is dedicated to supporting fellow small businesses and has distinguished himself as an agriculture innovator and community leader.
